Set in open countryside of Llanaber, just a mile out of Barmouth. We are on a 6 acre farm that is home to horses, ducks, Guinea Fowls and rescued chickens.
There are sweeping panaramic views, so you can watch the people playing on the beach and walking down the promenade from the comfort of your lounge in the cosy barn conversions!
There is a footpath direct to beach (5 minutes) and beautiful walk down the promenade or beach to Barmouth Town where you will find a variety of bars, cafe's, shops, twice-weekly outdoor market and a supermarket.
The area is Ideal for walking in the Snowdonia National park, local drovers paths, Cader Idris, bird watching around the Mawddach Estuary or just gently strolling along the promenade and around the harbour taking in the stunning views. Cycling (hire locally or storage for your own) at the nearby Coed y Brenin renound Mountainbiking centre, or teach your kids to ride on the flat promedade or beach.
There are bus stops at the bottom of the drive for both directions (ask for Plas Llwyd) and train stations at Barmouth (20 minutes walk) and Llanaber Halt (10 minutes walk). Please note that Llanaber Halt is a request stop.
We are pet friendly (additional charge) and the majority of pubs and attractions take dogs too. There is plenty of space of the beach for dogs, although there is a childrens area where dog are not allowed and a section where dogs must be on a lead. Please do not allow your dog to chase horses on the beach.
